Mr. Gidae Kwon started his legal practice at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in 2004 as a prosecutor. He joined GAON LAW GROUP as a partner in November 2023.
Mr. Kwon has a wealth of experience in all aspects of criminal practice, having served as a prosecutor, director general prosecutor, deputy chief prosecutor and branch chief for many years in front-line prosecutors' offices. He has particular expertise in tax, financial, and foreign exchange-related crimes, money tracing-enforcement and compliance monitoring, having served as a director general prosecutor of Criminal Assets Recovery Division of Seoul Central DPO and as a Director of Strategic Analysis of Financial Intelligence Unit. In addition, he has excellent capabilities in handling cases involving violations of administrative laws, having studied administrative law at Seoul National University School of Law and having worked as a prosecutor.
