Ms. Songkyeong Kim graduated from Seoul National University College of Law and completed her Master’s coursework in Constitutional Law. After passing the 50th Judicial Examination, she began her legal career in the Financial Tax Division at Samil PwC. She gained extensive expertise at Law Firm Jungan and several offices of the National Tax Service and served as a prosecutor at the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO) starting in 2021.
Since joining the Tax Group at Gaon Law Group in 2024, she has excelled in tax audits, litigation, and consulting. Her practice spans inheritance/gift taxes, corporate restructuring, and international taxation, as well as tax-related criminal defense. Leveraging her deep understanding of tax law and investigative procedures, she provides integrated, strategic defense from the audit stage through to criminal litigation.
